Robert Duvall’s stunning, yet quaint two-bedroom home just sold for $1.6 million. The actor and his actress/director wife Argentine bought the home in 2008 for $1.1 million.

Originally built in 1924, the bungalow cottage style home spans some 1,065-square-feet and has a separate guesthouse quarters. The property itself is fully gated and landscaped for privacy. Of course, since it’s original build date the property has been renovated.

The front of the home has a fountain and the backyard area has beautiful landscaping. There is a second bedroom with its own sitting room that could double as an office if someone wanted to do that. The space has great views of the garden as well.

The home’s design elements include an open floor plan, French doors in the master suite that give way to the backyard, and high ceilings throughout. The kitchen is fully upgraded and has stainless-steel appliances. Located just a few minutes from Beverly Hills and the Sunset Strip, it’s an ideal spot for Hollywood elite.

Duvall has started in countless films including “Godfather II,” and “Apocalypse Now” and owns several pieces of real estate in Virginia, Florida, Washington, and of course in Los Angeles.
