Michael Jordan’s North Carolina Home

Michael Jordan is well known for his NBA titles and sponsorships. But with his claim to fame he has amassed a huge fortune that he has used to buy gorgeous mansions. In fact, Mr. Jordan bought himself an enormous and stunning new home in North Carolina for a discounted price of $2.8 million dollars. Even though that seems like quite a bit to the average American, the price was actually considerably cheap in comparison to his $29 million tailor built home in Chicago. But this North Carolinian mansion has something his home in Chicago does not, waterfront property. In addition, the lake it sits on is in conjunction with the 7th hole of the prestigious Peninsula Club golf course.

The home itself is a ridiculous 12,310 square feet space which is more than enough room for the six foot six tall basketball all star. It consists of six spacious bedrooms and eight comfy bathrooms. The entry way is laid with marble and opens up to a gorgeous staircase and above is golden chandelier that makes you think of a ballroom or palace. As you move throughout the house you know you are in a mansion and with the state of the art elevator you begin to feel like you are in a five star hotel. The living room space consists of rows of floor length windows, polished hardwood floors, and a huge fireplace. It looks like the perfect place to celebrate with your family. The kitchen is surprisingly modern with gray granite and white trim facing out over the lake with massive bay windows. MJ’s backyard isn’t your ordinary backyard either. It has a gorgeous resort style swimming pool and spa and if you don’t want to swim in the pool all you have to do is take a few short steps forward and dip into the lake. Mr. Jordan’s new mansion also comes with his very own boat slip which he can use at anytime.

This North Carolina Mansion is fit for a king and we think that very well could be what Mr. Jordan was going for.
