Artist Kenny Loggins Sells Santa Barbara Home

Kenny Loggins,the Grammy award-winning artist/composer, has sold his Santa Barbara property. His one-acre estate recently sold for $2.65 million.

Built in 1960, the Hacienda-style home is surrounded by mountains and trees in a picturesque setting. The home features four bedrooms and four bathrooms. A separate guesthouse is also on site along with a quaint swimming pool.

The home has a formal living room and dining room, a wet bar adjacent to a family room, a spacious library and updated kitchen all on a single-story floor plan. Specialized features include stone and tile flooring, beamed ceilings, and fireplaces throughout the main living room and master bedroom.

The singer and songwriter purchased the home in 2006 for $2.586 million. The interior also features glass doors with multiple patios and a built-in barbecue. A Baja deck and spa also sit near the pool.

Loggins has worked on multiple projects for the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and came out as a solo artist. He also produced countless soundtracks including a few songs on “Caddyshack,” “Footloose,” and “Top Gun”
